US Suspends H1B Visa for Indians ~ H-4, J and L Visa News:
Due to Unemployment and the Corona Pandemic Crisis, the United States (US)’s President Trump give instructions and issued guidelines to suspends the H1B Visa and Other Temporary Visas e.g. H-4 Visa, J Visa and L Visa etc till the 31st December 2020. How To Apply For H1B Visa From India ?
According to US Administration’s New Visa Freeze Notice, the new rule of suspension would apply for those who are outside the United States and Don’t have a valid nonimmigrant visa. These restrictions not applicable for the existing holders of H-1B, H-2B, J and L visa holders and their spouse or children who are in the U.S. Currently.
US Administration Pauses the H-1B H4 Visa
As of 1st April 2020; According the USCIS Officials, US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has received approx 2.5 lakh work visa applications in which Indians applied 67% as 1.84 Lakh applications of the total H-1B Work Visa for current financial year.

1. Blanket ban of all H1B visas (new visas, not visa holders currently in the US). Still waiting on guidance for re-entry.
2. Ban all new J visas for those who are interns, etc. but should not affect universities.
3. Would not touch OPTs.
4. Entry of any immigrant is suspended with few exceptions, including researchers combatting COVID, healthcare professionals, and workers essential to alleviating COVID (+families).
