Don’t pick up unusual animals, said the police in one section of the Kansas City metropolitan area.
After scooping up an animal last week after seeing it in the northern area of Liberty, Missouri, police claimed a woman there requested assistance.
Officers were called to the location where the woman picked up the animal, which resembled a cat, near 69 Highway and 33 Highway.
That cat was actually a kitten of a bobcat, and it wasn’t fond of the woman.
The woman scooped up the animal, according to the police, and it bit her thumb.
A word of advice…if you want to pick up the cute little kitten to pet it, make sure it is not a bobcat first!! They do bite and scratch. #Meow pic.twitter.com/XajQzDhN6V

When the woman scooped it up, did she realise it was a bobcat? Although they are unsure, police want to remind locals that bobcats are a common animal.
The police posted on Twitter, “A word of caution: before picking up the adorable kitten to pet it, be sure it isn’t a bobcat! #Meow They do bite and scratch.”
