With physical therapy and lots of love, a tragically paralysed kitten makes progress

You won’t forget the tale of Georgie May the kitten, for better or for evil. But because of her heroic rescuers, this narrative is also immensely moving and heartwarming.

The fluffy black kitten was hurt in an unnecessary and thoughtless way toward the end of June. After a heated argument between the couple taking care of her in Las Vegas, someone slammed the door on the kitten. She was left paralysed and lifeless as a result. Then one of them left Georgie May at the veterinarian after bringing her there. Shame on them both.

After then, Georgie May’s life improves since Nikki Martinez, an outstanding animal rescuer, came to the kitten’s aid. Georgie, as is frequently the case with kittens who have undergone severe trauma,

The kitten had no fractured bones, the kind vets discovered after doing an X-ray on her. And yet, she was paralysed from lung contusions. But with physical therapy, maybe, she will be able to utilise her back legs once more.

This tiny female was unable to move her back legs, but she was still as frisky as any kitten. Martinez had seen physical therapy work for a puppy with a similar narrative, so she was optimistic that it might assist Georgia May. The puppy was once more able to stand and run after a few months. She so maintained optimism for the cute cat.

Martinez and “Foster Papi” could start the gentle therapeutic activities the vet advised using his instructions. They would next start scheduling physical therapy appointments, which would include laser and water therapy.

They both had to help the kitten express her bladder in the interim, and she needed diapers because of a food change, but things will get better. It was difficult at first, but with practise it got simpler.
