A family of cats, dogs, and deer frequently cuddle at Brown Family Hiking Trails, a 330-acre property in Missouri. It gives the impression of being a small piece of heaven on Earth.
It seems as though the standard guidelines for getting along don’t apply at all in this situation. Instead, after a trip through the woods, everyone likes to spend hours cuddling on the couch.
Since Covid lockdowns, the family has constructed ten miles of hiking routes. All animals accompany them as they hike the hilly wooded trails each day. They saved Buttons the deer when she was only a few days old, which was eleven years ago. Sadly, her mother was hit by a car, and without bottle-feeding, she might not have survived.
Buttons, who is now an adult, occasionally enters the home to dine at the table. This mother, however, typically roams the grounds and only comes to attention when her name is called.
All the animals in the Brown family get along. Buttons and Rabbit, the oldest grey and white cat, as well as G-bro, the Golden Retriever who helped raise her, may be the closest of friends.
