Steve the cat was a typical house cat. That is, until he was given charge of a herd of young lambs.
When the young sheep was brought indoors over the winter by his human, Amanda Whitlock, he experienced his own personal identity problem. When the sheep were let back into the pasture, Steve followed them because they got along so well!
When the lambs moved outdoors, we noticed Steve wasn’t inside anymore and asked, “Where is Steve?” He had just become accustomed to them and spent time with them inside.
Steve became a local and online star as a result of the photos of the group together!
“Steve was with them, and I was in the kitchen when I just so happened to glance out the window and see them all sitting where they usually sit by the door under a little shelter.”
I snuck outdoors with the camera in hand and took a few pictures of them.
