When Gabriella’s beloved feline buddies passed away, she was left with a void because she had grown up with cats.
To aid in her recovery, she started adhering to a number of local small rescue organisations.
She stumbled upon a post about three 10-week-old kittens who had been born outside one day as she was going through the rescue’s website on social media.
The group was utterly afraid and had never interacted with anyone. They were prepared to defend themselves tooth and nail and wouldn’t allow anyone to approach them.
When rescuers were able to get the feline brothers to freedom, they were chilly and wet.
The kittens fled to a spot between a litter box and a crate as soon as they got to Abby and Layla’s Angels Cat Rescue and flinched at the sight of everyone.
Jimmy, the orange and white kitten, was one of them. Jimmy hid on top of the litter box while looking terrified. According to Gabriella, the rescue organisation questioned whether the kittens would ever be “adoptable.”
