Rescuers come across an abandoned dog in a gully nursing an abandoned kitten. After receiving a report that an abandoned dog had been barking since Saturday, Anderson Animal Control officer Michelle Smith went to the area and saw that touching scene.
She discovered an abandoned kitten being cared for and protected by a Shih Tzu dog at the base of a narrow bridge. The officer brought the dog and cat into Anderson County P.A.W.S. so they could receive the necessary care. This, according to Officer Smith, is an illustration of why she enjoys her work. The dog’s name was Goldie, and Kate was the name of the kitten.
They later published a piece on Goldie and Kate that quickly became popular. More than 430,000 people liked and 88,000 people shared the post.
Many individuals were inspired by the post to adopt the 2 lovable animals, and eventually they visited the Harrises’ house. Fortunately, they have a lovely forever home now. See the video down below.
