‘Unicorn Kitten’ Arrives to Rescue Looking Like Two Cats Pieced Together

A rescue north of New York City received a “unicorn cat” with a unique coat pattern.

Rescuers from FURRR 911 in Westchester County, New York, recently discovered some odd kittens.

With some exceptions, the neonatal rescue group concentrates on saving the tiniest infants, frequently those who are 4 weeks old or younger. With new arrivals nearly every day, kitten season this year continued well into the fall.

We previously introduced a cuddly 4-week-old polydactyl kitten with the largest 24-toed paws anyone had ever seen. Recently, they came across a kitten with a lovely coat that appeared to be “pieced together” from “two separate cats.”

After receiving a call for assistance from Furrr 911, a woman later delivered a crate containing five malnourished kittens.

One of these was the “unicorn kitten,” which appeared to be a tortoiseshell from above. She had an altogether different pattern underneath, though, as the rescuers’ closer inspection revealed.

The kitty is shown in the back below.

Here she is with a tabby pattern from the front.

She also has a tabby-like appearance from the side.
