UK Post Study 2 Year Work Visa For Indian Students ~ New Rules

The United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson Government Announced on Wednesday Reinstating  02-Years Post-Study Visa Rules for the UK Post Study 2 Year Work Visa as International Students comprising those from the Republic of India.  Prime Minister Boris Johnson Government Rolled Back by Scrapping the Decision committed in 2012 by Then British Home Minister Theresa May.  Then Home-Minister Theresa May Decision resulted in Sharp Decline in the Number of the Indian Students since then.

According to the Data, Close to 4,50,000 International Students are currently studying in the United Kingdom. The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson Government Decision on Reinstating is bound to leave Positive Impact on the International Students.  

Boris Johnson Government stated that the Change in Post-Study Visa would See students “Unlock their Potential” and Begin Careers in the United Kingdom.

But the Campaign Group Migration Watch called it a “Retrograde” Step.

With the Post-Study Visa Reinstated, the Indian Students together with the International Students will be Allowed to stay in the United Kingdom for two years after graduation to find a job, under new proposals Announced by the Home Office.

The Change will apply to the International students in the United Kingdom – there were around 450,000 Last Year – Who start the Academic Courses at the Under Graduate Level or Higher Course Post Graduate Course from the Next Year onwards.

They must be Studying at an Institution with a Track Record in upholding Immigration Checks.

Under the Proposals, there is no Restriction on the Kinds of the Services the Students would have to seek and No Cap on the Numbers.
