Mila and Nina had all the odds against them from the day they were born. At barely three days old, they were discovered (together with their siblings) abandoned in the lobby of an emergency veterinary clinic.
Both a note and a cat mother were nowhere to be found by the staff. The kittens need urgent care around-the-clock since they were weak and vulnerable.
The employees immediately inquired whether they might assist their neighbourhood rescue, Baby Kitten Rescue.
According to Caroline Grace, founder of Baby Kitten Rescue, “when the hospital contacted and asked if we could take them, we accepted.”
Caroline saw the kittens’ poor condition right away. They were found to be infected with feline panleukopenia, sometimes known as feline distemper, which is a very difficult problem for any newborn kitten.
