A month ago, two kittens were given a second chance at life by being given to Indianapolis, Indiana’s IndyHumane animal sanctuary. One of the kittens arrived with numerous bite marks and required emergency medical care.
Stella (tabby) and Luna (black), who were about 5–6 weeks old, adapted to foster care easily. “Even though Stella was uncomfortable, she was in excellent spirits (due to her injuries). Luna is a crazy child who hasn’t slowed down since we brought her home and let her out of the carrier “Jennifer, an IndyHumane foster volunteer, spoke with Love Meow.
The tabby girl recovered after receiving supportive care, antibiotics, and painkillers.
The boisterous sister, Luna, was constantly on the move and on the lookout. She was a few ounces heavier than Stella but treated her with great gentleness, as if she understood Stella needed special attention.
Jennifer commented, “The smallest movement of any thing will attract her interest and have her pouncing.
