One-year-old Scottish Straight cat Tora enjoys exploring new places with her owner David Durst. Tora enjoys sitting in the passenger seat of the truck as they travel throughout the country.
When Tora was just two months old, she first went on an outside expedition. She has travelled to 43 different US states with her human so far, and their entire itinerary is documented on Tora The Trucker Cat’s Instagram profile, which has more than 23,900 followers.
David admitted that the adoption organisations made it tough for him to get a cat since they believed that the kitten shouldn’t live in a vehicle. Prior to seeing a picture of Tora from a breeder, he believed he couldn’t own a cat.
He immediately realised that he had discovered what he was looking for—a reliable travel companion—at that precise moment.
Tora was just eight weeks old when we brought her home, and we left three days later.
She was the most courageous kitten I’ve ever seen, and she jumped right into the truck. She cherished gazing out the window and observing the various fresh sights. It went on right away.”
