Cygnus is this. He is a Detroit, Michigan-born Maine Coon.
He just turned one and weighs 15 pounds. His tail is 18.4 inches long from base to skinned end.
However, if you include the fluff, it measures 24 inches. The fact that it is still increasing is what shocks me the most.
The tail is nearly as big as the actual cat. Most likely, you could tie it in a bow! Just have a peek at it! Crazy!
The longest cat tail in the world right now measures 16.3. And Cygnus has certainly taken that title back now.
