Cat brothers Laszlo and Lestat have been a connected pair since birth.
They were discovered in a backyard as preterm kittens with no sign of their mother. They were adopted by Orphan Kitten Club together with their other siblings.
The youngest and weakest of the group, Lestat was the runt of the litter. He was given a heat source right away and required intensive care.
For the first week, things were precarious. In order to keep him alive, Yige Zhao (Foster Mom) toiled through many restless nights.
Despite the odds being against him, the kitten persisted and surmounted each challenge. Without his brother Laszlo, he would not have succeeded.
From the start, Laszlo was Lestat’s devoted guardian. Lestat’s brother kept him close the entire time, even when he was in the worst of shape. Lestat’s little body was given new life by his warmth and touch.
Yige saw something amazing between the two kittens each time Lestat’s heartbeat decreased.
