The most endearing character is “Very Old Kevin,” a senior cat that was saved

After being adopted, senior cat “Very Old Kevin” from Melbourne, Australia, first showed up on Instagram in August 2019. He was a street cat before that and wound up in foster care and Forever Friends Animal Rescue.

This cat has obviously seen a lot in his life, but it’s unclear how old he is. He is over ten, but a vet claims he looks 1,000 years old. He resembles Daniel Striped Tiger from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood a lot nonetheless.

These are not the youthful eyes of a cat, but rather eyes that have experienced numerous hardships. Kevin’s ears are cropped, his tail is absent, his fur is always rumpled, and his lips is turned down like a “dignified man of noble interests.”

Very Old Kevin exudes character, as is immediately clear, and one wonders what he’s thinking. With her clever, witty, and hilarious captions, his human Lisa Dib provides a glimpse.

Very Old Kevin’s voice, a gentlemanly man, is almost audible. He still views himself as the most attractive and menacing predator with a powerful roar, despite the fact that he no longer resembles a “strapping young punk” and instead looks more like a “dusty wombat.”
