A blind raccoon that had problems obtaining food on his own frequently entered the backyard of a woman called Eryn to forage for food. Additionally, he feared high grass, birds, snow, and severe winds.
So, since 2009, the home’s owner has fed him practically every morning. He typically arrived for breakfast between 6 and 9 a.m., then returned to the forest to relax and play.
“During the day, his bright green eyes shone. He walked into things, was at least partially blind, and was terrified of the wind, tall grass, birds, and snow, Eryn said.
He took two black kittens along with him when he arrived for his daily food supply. The kittens began to follow the raccoon around after making friends with him.
It was discovered that the kittens were stray and in need of sustenance. The raccoon took them to Enry’s backyard so they could eat together because of this.
Eryn initially believed that the kittens had followed the blind raccoon because they were aware she would provide them with food. But the kittens appeared to be acting as the raccoon’s personal bodyguards, guarding him.
Every day they gathered for some free food before returning to the forest.
