Here You Can Travel ~ These States Open for Tourism in India:

Due to Coronavirus Pandemic with increasing cases day by day, that affected the tourism and the parallel industries of tourism very badly. Now the Ministry of Tourism has planned to open the tourism sector for locals Indians after the 4 months of being under lockdown due to corona virus pandemic. In this article we’ll try to explain about the states of India which are planning or planned to open or already opened for tourism where you can travel and explore the India’s 28 states and 9 Union Territories.

Now the Government of India has started the 2nd phase of Unlock 2.0, so the several states of India has opened or trying to open the tourism for their economy which was badly hit hard during the imposition of the lockdown about 4 months.

As Official Sources the Hotels, Restaurants and Shopping malls are allowed to open during 1st phase unlock 1.0, now the states of India has removed restrictions during the Unlock 2.0 and giving permission to reopen the Tourism Sectors for the tourists by measuring the all aspects of Coronavirus Pandemic.

Here is the list where the States of India planning to open the tourism sector for travelling i.e.

Himachal Pradesh Tourism Opened :

The Himachal Pradesh Government has allowed for the entry of tourists for the tourism activity but without e-passes tourist can not enter into the state. Before Visiting the Himachal Pradesh, the tourist must follow the safety guidelines by following some rules e.g.

(1) Tourists must have the Aarogya Setu App on the IOS or Android Mobile Phones.

(2) Must have the Medical Report i.e. Covid Test Certificate (RTPCR) issued by ICMR Certified Lab with Negative Report and it should not be earlier than 72 hours

(3) Must have the Confirm Booking of Minimum 5 Days

(4) Must Tourists Must register on www.covid19epass.hp.gov.in website before 48 hours of Visiting

so these are these things which will be checked at the entry points of the states while visiting the Himachal Pradesh.

Goa Tourism Opened :

The Goa government also opened its doors to tourists on 2 July 2020 with some specific rules for tourists that should either have a corona negative certificate done 48 hours before or go to the Goa border and get their corona test done for Rs 2,000.

Tourist will be allowed to stay in Goa only if found negative. As per Sources the 7% of hotels of Goa have been booked since July 2, 2020. According to Travel & Tourism Association, There are a total of 4,000 hotels in Goa in which 250 have applied to open hotels after the Corona Pandemic, but so far only 160 have been granted permission by the Government of Goa.

Bars, Restaurants, Casinos and Markets in Goa are completely closed. Except the Panajim, the Calangute, Candolim, Anjuna, Palolim, Colva, Agoda are all closed due to Corona Pandemic, only Retail and some liquor shops are opened. Before Visiting Goa Check these points ;

(1) Only domestic tourists who have the pre-booking of accommodation which is registered by the tourism department, are allowed to travel in Goa.

(2) Tourists must have to go for a basic screening at entry check point.

(3) Must have Covid-19 Negative Certificate issued in last 48 Hours. if any case, tourist not having the a valid Covid-19 Certificate, then he or she must be directed to undergo the testing for Covid-19 at the designated centres or hospitals of Goa at your own cost.

(4) Must have the Self Declaration Form

How To Travel Goa in the Corona Pandemic : These are the routes and ways to travel Goa which are as follows ;

By Road: Dodamarg, Patradevi, Keri, Mollem, Pollem

By Air: Dabolim International Airport

By Train: Madgaon, Thivim, Vasco da Gama

Uttarakhand Tourism Opened :

In the list tourism reopening, the Government of Uttarakhand also took a major step to allow the reopening of its borders for tourism purpose for the inter-states & inter-districts. So other states tourists can explore the Uttarakhand without being quarantined but tourist must have the report of Covid-19 being Negative. The Famous Char Dham Yatra (चार धाम यात्रा) will be only for the local & permanent resident of Uttarakhand State until the Government’s further notices.

Before Visiting the Uttarakhand, there some guidelines which have to be followed by every traveller which are as follows ;

(1) Tourists must have to register on the www.smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in (Smart City Web Portal)

(2) Covid-19 Negative Report issued by the ICMR certified labs which should not be earlier than 72 hours

(3) If tourists which enter into the Uttarakhand Border without the Covid-19 negative certificate, then tourist should have a minimum booking for 7 days in a hotel, registered by the Uttarakhand tourism.

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Opened :

The Government of Madhya Pradesh Already re-opened their State Tourism with Hotels, resorts and many tourists destinations like Amarkantak, Panchmari, Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Ujjain and Mandu etc. The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) launches the Campaign ‘Intezaar Aapka’ to attracts & promotes the domestic tourism by major destinations. as per news the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) Monuments in MP also opened from the the July 6, 2020.

Rajasthan Tourism Opened :

The Tourism Department of Rajasthan as reopens for the tourism by handling the safety precautions. The Rajasthan Tourism reopened the monuments, museums, hotels, resorts, parks even the wildlife safari to draw attention of the tourists to explore the state for inter-states & inter-districts.

The Director of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum informed that Rajasthan tourism re-opened the “Gaitore” and “Maharaniyon ki Chhatris” from July 15, 2020 by following the all safety guidelines and instructions.

Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Opened :

The Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Department re-opened in a phased manner from July 14, 2020 and issued the guidelines for entry of tourists in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. There some points which you should remember before visiting the J&K which are as follows ;

(1) In this Phase, Tourism limited to those arriving by Air Only

(2) RTPCR testing of all tourists compulsory on arrival

(3) Tourists must have confirmed hotel bookings or accommodation for the duration of stay or visit.

(4) Tourists must have the Confirmed Return Ticket

(5) Tourists must pre-book the Taxis or Transport Facility through Hotel / Travel Agency

(6) Aarogya Setu App must be downloaded in IOS or Android Phones.

Delhi Tourism Opened :

The Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) has reopened the all three Dilli Haats and the Garden of Five Senses in the city for tourists by easing restrictions Covid-19 Lockdown to draw attentions of all visitors. Tourists must wear a face mask and follow the all guidelines issued by the government.
