A charming cat named Lucy has amassed a sizable online following as a result of her big head and hairless dark skin, which give her the appearance of a cute bat.
One-year-old Sphynx Lucy currently resides in Haifa, Israel, with her owner Zilla Bergamini. Her rare illness, hydrocephalus, which develops when fluid accumulates in the skull and causes the brain to enlarge, was identified at delivery.
Bergamini fell in love with the disabled cat Lucy when she first met her. Bergamini chose to adopt Lucy despite finding it challenging to raise and take care of her.
Bergamini confessed, “I fell in love at first sight. “I started reading as much as I could about hydrocephalus and its potential consequences. I started looking for the top veterinary neurological hospital in the nation, and I also started putting money aside to cover any necessary surgery or medicines.
