Tigger, the “Kleptokitty,” is owned by police sergeant Dave Kempas of the Oregon Police Department.
Tigger brought all sorts of odd items home over the years.
The cat burglar brings a variety of items home and leaves them in the driveway or on the back porch. They dubbed it his “staging area,” littered with his most recent finds as his collection grew.
Kempas, 59, discovers them later. It was incorporated into the daily schedule over time. Next, what would Tigger bring?
The police sergeant has a number of cats, so he wasn’t certain which one was the offender. In order to capture the cat burglar in the act, he put a trail camera. He then realised that it was Tigger.
The cat has been encouraged to practise the habit year-round since age one.
Many of the items likely originated from the high school that was right next door to the house. Although Tigger was constantly gathering, the activity tended to increase in the summer.
