We published an article about the Boston area’s maybe luckiest and unluckiest cat last year. Poor Space Ghost, as he was initially called, had been discovered abandoned on the street, lying in a pool of his own blood.
Fortunately, a compassionate person found the dying soul and summoned a group of experts.
The lucky 2-year-old Siamese beauty was clinging to a new lease on life when we last wrote about him. Thankfully, there were no symptoms of chronic damage as his wounds healed. The Animals Rescue League of Boston’s (ARL) heroes had worked hard to gain his respect.
But will this former stray cat’s encounter with death affect him irrevocably? Perhaps he would now prefer the quiet and significantly less risky inside life?
It appears that he continues to enjoy actually living on the edge. I adore seeing scratching posts that have been pulled apart because it means a cat is acting as a cat should!
