Rescuers in Brooklyn Pull a Cowboy Cat From Under an Expressway

Cowboy, a “very classy modern gentlemen cat,” was rescued by Brooklyn Cat Cafe, but shockingly, someone abandoned him under the congested Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.

They waved goodbye and left with the cat and a chuck waggon full of cat chow.

Luckily, the fearful cat was discovered by rescuers because he remained close to the food. When he was abandoned and surrounded by unidentified city slicker threats on all sides, one can only speculate as to his thoughts.

It took hours for Cowboy’s wrangler rescuers to get to him when they arrived. They then identified the most likely cause of the cat’s abandonment high and dry.

The rescuers quickly discovered that Cowboy had some significant dental issues. Therefore, it is highly likely that someone today couldn’t afford health care, a situation to which almost everyone can relate.

Despite all odds, Cowboy received the medical attention he required, thanks to the generosity of others.
