A baby goat named Iker had a difficult start to life until he met Cody, a rescued tabby cat who could see the goat was hurt and in need of support. Cody offered to assist with caring for and nursing Iker back to health.
The Leon Vegano Animal Sanctuary and Mino Valley Farm Sanctuary worked together to save the life of Iker, a baby goat who had been abandoned with a fractured leg. Iker required a lot of affection and consolation to recover.
FHV-positive and a wild cat since birth, Cody. He has firsthand experience in the art of survival, and he is now attempting to impart to Iker all the knowledge required for his recovery. The tabby cat kept an eye on his young goat and soon abandoned his own bed to spend each night cuddling with Iker.
