When this black and white rescue cat first came at his foster home, he had never been handled or pet. Now, he is unable to resist cuddling with people. The largest cuddle bug they’ve ever experienced is him.
When they took in Calvin, a polydactyl cat, he was just 5 weeks old. He was hysterical, ill, and terrified.
“I took him and his brothers into foster care. They were too young to be adopted, unwell, and semi-feral, according to enicknick’s Reddit post.
“When we got there, they were so terrified. They were removed from a hoarder’s residence. They had probably never been held, she continued.
Things started to shift for Calvin gradually.
The kittens gradually began to warm up to their foster family and discovered that their people weren’t all that horrible. Calvin was captivated from the first moment he was held and now desired as much love and attention as he could receive… and offer.
They made the decision to keep him and one of his brothers since they realised they wouldn’t be able to just place him for adoption.
We fostered three brothers, I believe. When they were old enough, my brother was interested in adopting one, but we kept the other two. Ours is called Calvin and Hobbes.
They adopted Calvin and Hobbes because they didn’t want to give up their cats.
