Nearly 90 cats were discovered living in one room; cat rescue pleads for help saving them

A cat rescue organisation in central Pennsylvania requests assistance in preserving over 90 cats.

The home first housed two or three cats in 2020, according to the founder of Feline Solutions cat rescue.

It was described as a “cat hoarding” issue by, a tiny non-profit cat sanctuary in York County.

According to Molina, a relative of the woman reported the hoarding situation to the nonprofit in September. Molina withheld the name of the woman. We were informed since the person is a long-lost relative of Feline Solutions’ secretary. Who better to do it for than the family of one of our own? We felt obligated because, of course, it’s what we do. Molina said.

The woman, according to Molina, has a mental health issue and believed she was rescuing the kittens. However, Molina claimed that she thought the woman was being prevented from receiving the assistance she requires by the cats because she “struggles to feed them and herself.” According to Molina, “in her head, she loves them and didn’t perceive a problem.” “Her family forced her to seek assistance.”
