Missing Cat Boards a Train and Travels Home, Even Getting Off at the Correct Stop!

Everyone was shocked when this cat, who had been missing for two weeks, managed to board a train, find his way home, and even get out at the proper trainstop.

The 13-year-old cat named Charlie, who had just moved to Accrington, England, in April, vanished from his house and was nowhere to be found until he showed up at the town’s bustling train station.

Charlie must have boarded a train at Colne, travelled seven stations, and then alighted at Accrington, according to the station employees.

Andy Richards of the East Lancashire Cats commented, “I’ve never in my life experienced anything like this.”

He’s overseeing the ticket counter now that we took care of him at the station, according to rail worker Steven.

On Monday, as usual, I was working at the store when one of my friends called to tell me that a cat had just gotten off the train and was sitting on the platform.

“I walked up with a cat carrier and scooped him up and took him back since we couldn’t just leave him there on the side of the railway platform.”

At the rescue facility where the cat was taken, a microchip scan was performed on the animal. I was surprised to learn that he did; he was a very sociable cat. “I didn’t anticipate he would have one as most strays don’t and you’re working in the dark a bit,” the author said.

They were given a Warrington address and a phone number, although the latter was unreachable. “I posted a picture of Charlie on Facebook in the hopes that someone would know him, and my friend Jo White from Paws and Claws Rescue recognised him.

From Warrington, the cat had been relocated to Accrington. It appears as though he went on an adventure or had a two-week vacation, remarked Andy.

How did he know which stop to get off at since there are seven between Colne and Accrington? I find that to be the most astounding aspect of the whole narrative.

Since then, Charlie has been joined by his family. They were ecstatic to have him back, Andy remarked.
