Meet Renly, the kitten Sara Budzynowski and her husband adopted in the previous year. When Budzynowski was employed by Wilson Veterinary Hospital, she first encountered Renly and his siblings. When they were only 3 weeks old, the hospital received the kittens’ surrender.
With the exception of Renly, who had to have his tail amputated owing to an illness, the kittens were in perfect health. Budzynowski instantly fell in love with Renly while tending to him, so she made the decision to adopt and take him home.
Budzynowski recalled, “I took him home to foster him about a week after he got that bit of his tail severed, and the rest was history.
After bringing Renly home, the couple immediately started spoiling him. They presented him with a soft blanket and a sweet plush rabbit. Renly’s blanket has since grown to be his best friend, and he is now 10 months old (besides his parents, of course).
His cherished blanket follows him everywhere he goes. He plays with it, sleeps with it, and even manages to take it with him everywhere.
