A kitten with paralysed hind legs in need of rescue was reported to Jessica Ruf, the organization’s founder. She acted quickly to bring him inside and to safety.
When the kitten first arrived, he was in poor condition—he was hardly more than skin and bones, listless, ravenous, and covered with fleas. He would drag his torso and legs across the ground in order to move just with his front paws, as Jessica said to Love Meow. “It was obvious he had no movement in the lower half of his body.”
Despite everything he had been through, the kitten was eager to eat and had a loud meow right away.
Mohan, the kitten, was thought to be three weeks old. The rescue’s foster volunteer Courtney welcomed him into her warm home.
Courtney told Love Meow, “He snuggled in close to me all night and just stared at me with those big gorgeous eyes—I knew he was delighted to be secure.” “He spent the entire night purring while holding my fingers and a teddy.”
