After Katie Duda’s beloved cat Lucky passed away, the brothers pair were welcomed into her home. She still had her snarky cat Ava, but something was missing from her house. She then made the decision to adopt once more.
But given Ava’s advanced age, she understood that getting two younger cats who could play together would be preferable. Ava can then continue doing what she always did.
Her heart was once more filled when she discovered River and Remi at a nearby foster home for Wrenn’s Rescue. She might have been been seeing things, but she believed she spotted what looked like a heart form on River’s chest.
However, eager to get her new babies home, she gently gathered them up and chose not to look at the handsome coat any further.
River was a little reserved because it was their first time in their new home. But Katie was there for him whenever he needed her. He needed his brother to accompany him in order to demonstrate to him how to safely explore. She hadn’t really thought about the heart-shaped marking on his tiny body until he came out.
