Heartwarming Firefighter’s Smiling After Saving Family Cat

The incident took place in Jacksonville, Florida after the fire was put out. There was still a cat inside, firefighters were told!

So Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department engineer Shawn Fallon entered the burned-out wreckage. He promptly got to work looking for the adorable black cat who was the family’s fourth member.

Unexpectedly, he actually discovered a house panther lurking beneath a couch, wet and afraid.

Fallon picked up the startled cat with ease. He carefully rushed it outside so he could check on its wounds and give it water and air.

The moment Fallon turned to face the assembled family, friends, and onlookers with a bright smile on his face, they realised the cat was safe. That grin means more than anything when the future of a cherished family member is uncertain.
