Mike simply HAD to take action when he learned that Zorro, a stray cat with three legs, was going to be put to death. even if it meant jeopardising his union!
It all started when someone shared a photo of Zorro on social media and claimed that the workers at the shelter were euthanizing him and that he needed to find a home TODAY. Mike suddenly realised he had to save the kitten;
it was as if the image of Zorro was crying out to him. He made the snap decision to make the 20-hour round trip to pick up Zorro from the shelter with the intention of caring for him until he found a permanent home.
After a week, the plans were altered when Mike completely fell in love with the small cat and was unable to part with him. The only issue was that Mike already owned two cats, and his girlfriend insisted that they would not be getting a third. Mike was risking his marriage because he had no intention of giving up this cat with three legs.
