Four senior Chihuahuas Accept a Tiny Kitten Into Their Squad, Best Friendship Ever!

Senior dogs make excellent friends. They are wiser and have a more relaxed demeanour. Anyone who has adopted an elderly dog knows how endearing these animals can be.

Unfortunately, many individuals still regard the process of adopting a companion animal into their house as a shopping experience, constantly hunting for the cutest and youngest pups.

This almost surely results in the abandonment of lovable and worthy older dogs in shelters, where they can become extremely lonely. Fortunately, there are people out there who are prepared to give a senior dog a second opportunity.

Take, for example, Julie Docherty, who owns four senior chihuahuas!

MoMo, Choli, Paloma, and Benito spend their days eating, resting, sunning, and generally enjoying their golden years.

These boys had become accustomed to their way of life, but their world was rocked recently when Julie arrived home with a mystery bundle of fur in her arms – a kitten! This kitten, now named Rosita, was less than a month old and was full of energy and eager to play.

The quad-squad was initially wary of Rosita, but before long they were hanging around like they’d known each other their entire lives. Meet the cast! It may take you a moment to find Rosita, but keep looking because she is definitely there!

Julie did not simply adopt Rosita. She did, in fact, save her.

Some individuals were flinging the defenceless creature around, and Julie knew she had to take her in and give her a better life.

Rosita coaxes the puppies into playing with her!

Paloma teaches Rosita how to lay down!

It’s a fantastic partnership!

Rosita has become so close to the puppies that it’s often difficult to tell them apart!

They even sleep in each other’s beds at times!

They sometimes just sit on the carpet!

Whatever they do to play or unwind, one thing is certain: a crew that rests together, stays together!

We here at The Best Cat Page hope that these two can spend many more happy years together.

Although this tiny kitten must yet heal from her traumatic birth, it appears she will be able to do so with the help of her chihuahua grandparents.

Best wishes, Rosita!
