This incredible story of bravery and four kittens found at sea is fantastic. A burning boat that was about to capsize was almost a catastrophe! Near the island of Koh Adang, the boat capsized in deep water, and eight crew members in distress called for assistance.
The Royal Thai Navy had to check the capsized boat for any potential oil spills; while doing so, they discovered four terrified cats. Rescue operations were swift.
First-Class Petty Officer Wichit Pukdeelon used his camera to take a distant look at the boat while examining the debris. At this point, he saw four cats clinging desperately on a crane-like structure.
Thatsaphon Saii, a 23-year-old petty officer, recognised how serious the issue was and acted right away. There wasn’t much time left before the entire boat would be lost at sea due to the spreading fires, so he had to act swiftly. He would swim back and forth between the two boats while carrying the cats on his shoulders.
The officers could finally sigh with satisfaction when they saw the wreckage completely engulfed in flames and all four cats safely aboard the Royal Thai Navy warship.
According to the officials, the ship’s oil tank is prone to leaks and is extremely hazardous for the environment.
