The Georgetown Texas Fire Department received a critical call that evening.

The Teravista Subdivision’s residents had found a kitten whimpering from a nearby storm drain. Sadly, stray kittens have been spotted in the vicinity before. Now, however, a TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) programme will hopefully be developed.

When a kitten is swept out of a storm drain in Texas, firefighters manage to preserve its life.

The skilled rescuers sent to the kittens’ help were the heroes from Engine 1, Truck 1, and Battalion Chief 1. These are the times when we need to keep in mind that they are committed to more than just putting out flames!

In order to find the terrified kitten, they took off the cover over the storm drain. Thankfully, Thankfully the rescue efforts were all captured on camera.
