Hope For Paws, a nonprofit organisation that rescues animals in need, went out on a rescue mission after learning of a family of kittens who required assistance.
It all started when a young girl texted them to inform them that a young mother cat and her litter of kittens were residing in an old couch that had been abandoned not far from her home.
They immediately departed because they knew it would take them more than an hour to get there and that time might be of the importance.
The young mother in ginger was immediately visible when they arrived, so they put out some tuna to entice her off the couch and put her at ease.
They had the chance to put up a trap because the kitten swiftly consumed the food and went back to her brood.
Everything went according to plan, and once the young mother was secure in the trap, it was time to focus on saving her kitten brood.
They still hadn’t seen the kittens and didn’t know how old they were, so they set up some fencing around the couch to stop them from jumping out and running away.
They quickly succeeded in removing the first kitten from the couch, and wow, was he adorable.

They quickly found the other three and brought them to safety inside the kitty box.
It was time to get them to the hospital so they could receive care.
The kittens were given names Todd, Ella, Patty, and James once they arrived at the clinic. They named the mother cat Kimberly.
They were a truly lovely litter of kittens!
Three of the kittens developed eye infections, luckily nothing serious, so it was time for some medical care.
It was such a sweet sight to see Kimberly meet her children again in a secure setting.
The fact that the rescuers arrived at the sofa before the trash collectors made them quite grateful; otherwise, a very awful outcome might have befallen this family.
The entire family is currently in foster care together and will be placed for adoption when they are ready.
