A pair of kittens in need of a foster home and a lot of tender loving care were given to Melissa and Tyler Lucas from their local animal shelter a month before fall.
Ida, a black kitten, and Isabella, sometimes known as Izzy, a brown kitten, are sisters and arrived together.
According to Melissa, who spoke to Love Meow, “their mother was unable to care for the litter, so they were brought to the shelter.”
“Ida is tenacious and consistently develops a few days ahead of schedule. Izzy is the cuddly, fluffy one who is content to do nothing except eat and sleep.”
Every time they were held, the kittens melted into their carers. Izzy in particular was particularly cuddly; in their arms, she would quickly close her eyes and drift off to sleep.
After only a few days in foster care, the feline sisters developed into complete cuddle-bugs.
