Then there is the lovely Ernie, who is amassing Instagram fans. Along with his mother Irene Wong and her father Joey Wetsloot, he resides in Vallejo, California.
Ernie had a difficult beginning to life, much like many felines do. Irene and Joe, however, one fateful day found the little fellow purring beneath their parked automobile.
The father and daughter quickly became good friends with the adorable tabby and white striped cat.
He was initially maintained as an outdoor cat. However, he somehow injured his paw, and the doctors informed Irene that his tiny leg would need to be amputated.
