Recent images posted on Twitter by Merve zcan showed a mother cat taking her ailing kitten to the emergency room of an Istanbul hospital. The unfortunate mother cat is surrounded by the paramedics, who are also seen caressing her.
Thankfully, the cats received the care they required because Turks are known for their love and respect for stray animals.

The story touched the hearts of many, garnering thousands of shares on Turkish social media and more than 89k likes on Reddit. A baby kitten is seen being brought by its mother to the hospital emergency room in pictures posted on Twitter.
Merve zcan, who first posted the pictures, explained that “today we were in the emergency area of the hospital when a cat hurried to carry her offspring in her mouth.”
According to local media, while the baby was receiving care, the doctors gave its mother milk and nourishment to help her feel more at ease and comfortable. The Turks are well recognised for their compassion toward stray animals, frequently providing them with food and water on the streets.
