Best buddies Mewie the cat and Jamila the young rhino both reside in a rhino sanctuary. Mewie had a great crush on Jamila when she first arrived at the orphanage.
They develop an unexpected relationship and enjoy carrying out all activities together.
Mewie needed attention because he had been rescued as a young kitten. He was up surrounded by a variety of animals and now helps care for them all. He rules the orphanage like a monarch.
When Jamila was about a month old, she was brought to the orphanage. The infant was harmed while defending her mother from poachers who were after their horns.
Mewie was determined to become Jamila’s friend after falling in love with the baby rhino on their first encounter. Although Jamila was relieved to be safe, she missed her mother. Jamila felt warmer and happier because of Mewie.
