Cole Jr., the “First Lucky Black Cat of 2022,” who was discovered paralysed, finds a home

We’re happy to learn that a black kitten named “Cole Jr.” by Cat Man Chris and an orange cat by the name of Volstagg have both found new homes.

When Chris assisted in saving the kitten during a busy day of rescues, he referred to Cole Jr. as the “first lucky black cat of 2022.” Volstagg, who was discovered months ago with a major back injury, achieved an incredible recovery in the meantime.

Chris was overjoyed to announce the information and to introduce the kitten’s new mother, artist Leeza Hernandez.

Chris’s discovery of Cole Jr. limping close to an apartment complex in early January was extremely fortunate for Cole Jr. (At first, he believed this cat to be a female, but later realised Cole Jr. is a young boy.) Chris saw the kitten’s friendliness right away.

After looking around, no cats were found to be missing.

Chris speculated that the kitten may have been dumped or may have “popped out at the apartments” while riding in a car engine.
