Meet Pumpkin, a white and orange rescue cat who enjoys playing about the house, snoozing on his back, and cuddling with his mother.
When he’s not engaged in those pursuits, Pumpkin likes to think of himself as a trickster who enjoys hiding out around the home and keeping an eye on his family.
His go-to cover, perhaps? beneath the bathmat.
In an interview with The Dodo, Hannah Dordick, Pumpkin’s mother, said, “I believe he thinks if he’s under them you can’t see him.” “Apart from that, I think he’s just a weirdo,” the speaker said.
Pumpkin isn’t particularly faithful to bath mats; he’s content to hide under practically anything he finds on the floor, but he’s sometimes not quite as covert as he thinks.
Pumpkin enjoys hiding beneath towels or tote bags that are lying on the ground, according to Dordick. He’ll pretend you can’t see him by hiding behind a bag that is considerably smaller than himself.
No matter where he is—cartoonishly peeking out from behind a bath mat, or curled up by Dordick—Pumpkin is always making people smile with his eccentric appeal.
Dordick remarked, “Pumpkin is a nutball, but also the loveliest little man. “[He] appears to be joyful almost constantly.”
