We all need a steady supply of positive stories to counteract the world’s negativity and brighten us up. While this does not necessary imply that such stories always contain animals, it certainly does. Animals make the world a better place, and sometimes all we need is a cat to lean on.
Cats are not commonly regarded as friendly or caring, and there are no therapy cats to back up my claim, but as I write this emotional narrative with my cat lying on the table with her paws wrapped around my hand, I realise that cats are incredibly intuitive and are always there when you need them.
