A pregnant torbie cat was given a second chance at life by the Virginia-based Animal Welfare League of Arlington about a month ago.
She was a love bug from the moment she entered foster care at the age of roughly two. Freckles, the expecting mother cat, craved all the attention and couldn’t get enough of it.
Right away, she flopped onto her side and then her tummy, cranked up her purr, and began kneading with her fluffy front paws.
Freckles appeared to be overjoyed to have a roof over her head, access to an unlimited meal, and adoring people to rub her face on. She was eager to receive attention and delighted to awaken each morning to a loving family that lavished her with cuddles.
Freckles got to know every occupant of the house over the course of the following few weeks, both human and animal, and she quickly won everyone over.
