Sophia came to us after being abandoned as a pregnant stray cat at a local shelter. After only a few days with us, she developed a terrible upper respiratory illness. She was unable to eat because of the congestion in her skull, according to Here Kitty Kitty Rescue.
For a week they tried to syringe feed her, but she flatly refused. They inserted a feeding tube, and she soon recovered from her cold.
Four male kittens were shortly born to her!
She resumed eating on her own the very following day.
The tiny family is content and healthy now that her feeding tube has been removed.
