Cat Locates a Home for Her Six Kittens & Purrs…and protect them

A tabby cat and her six kittens were discovered as strays. She made every effort to feed and shelter her kittens from the outdoors.

A helpful bystander intervened and transported them to Wilco Regional Animal Shelter (in Williamson County, Texas). According to Megyn at Kitten Konnoisseur, a foster volunteer at the shelter, “the finding told staff that she was feral and to be caution.”

To their amazement, the cat mother warmed up to the personnel and became sociable, as if she knew her kittens were safe with them.

In order for the mother, Eevee, to nurture her kittens in the security of a loving home, the shelter searched for a foster parent. Megyn replied to the request right away and prepared a room for the family of seven.

“At the time, her infants were around three weeks old. Although we were unsure of how she would do in a home, we soon learned that she had clearly been a house cat “told Love Meow Megyn.
