Sara works at Wilson Veterinary Hospital, and one of her responsibilities is to care for animals in their in-house rescue.
Sara immediately fell in love with a litter of three kittens that were brought in one day.
Looking after little kittens was one of her favourite aspects of her job, but one of the kittens had an infected tail that had to be amputated.
Sara assisted with the process as well as the aftercare of this small black kitten named Renly.
She recognised he was a really special kitty the more time she spent with him.
She adored him so much that she decided to adopt him, w
hich he was overjoyed about.
To welcome him into her home, she purchased him his own blanket and a plush rabbit.
Renly adored his gifts, and he is still completely smitten with them ten months later. He values his blanket so highly that he carries it with him practically everywhere he goes.

He’s usually cuddling his stuffed bunny when he’s not with his blanket.
Sara decided to adopt two more animals following Renly, two Corgis named Azula and Hotchner.
Renly was immediately drawn to the small canines and showered them with affection.
In fact, he loved them so much that he let them share his favourite blanket.
Sara believes that these two things are so important to him since they were the beginning of his new happy existence.
And now he’s passing it on to his new siblings, such a wonderful cat.
