when Margaret was fostering a sick cat and administering medication to it.
She went to investigate a commotion in the bedroom of the condo they called home. She found a window that was open but had no screen.
It’s unclear whether Max merely pushed the window screen out or if it popped out on its own. But Margaret’s experience was devastating without a doubt.
However, Mini Max had also started his own life there. In her Peabody, Massachusetts house, Kudzma had discovered the four-month-old kittens, who had all been born under a structure.
She brought them home and cared for them till they recovered. Although she had a particular affinity with them, Mini Max was an exception.
She was kept busy finding homes for the cats that came her way through her fostering and trapping. However, in some respects, she was still in a miserable situation that was getting worse for her with each new cat. At the end of the day, there was no Mini Max to play with.
They kept holding out hope that Max would be found and have his chip scanned because he is microchipped. And finally, on July 19, 2021, some six years after the fluffy cat vanished, Margaret got the call she had been anticipating.
