A stray cat with two 5- to 6-month-old kittens showed up on a family’s porch earlier this year looking for food and shelter. When the mother was discovered to be pregnant, Sparkle Cat Rescue (SCR) was approached to rescue the triplets.
SCR reached out to Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue, a partner rescue, to find the expectant mother a cosy place to raise her new litter. Her elder kittens were offered for adoption, and they have now been placed in a forever home together.
The cat, Ally, caught everyone’s attention right away. Volunteer foster carer Monica welcomed her into her house with open arms.
According to Sarah Kelly, the founder of Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue, “Ally sank onto her foster mom’s lap and asked for any and all love.”
She was happy to be inside and all she wanted to do was spend time with her family and cuddle. She would look for a lap, arm, or other place to cuddle.
