A single kitten named Cider was born to a calico cat named Maple, who was discovered outside. Though she had two more in her belly when they were taken to Metro Animal Care and Control (MACC), the finder was unaware of this.
They were taken into Jenn’s care by a foster volunteer so the mother may complete her labour in peace and comfort. Sadly, despite their best attempts to save them all, only Cider the kitten survived.
Despite being perplexed and terrified by all the changes going on around her, Maple never wavered in her commitment to Cider.
She has experienced the loss of her infants, yet despite this, Jenn said, “she is still very kind and sweet.” “Maple is a wonderful mother to Cider and they have such a beautiful attachment.”
Maple rapidly came out of her shell and resumed acting like a kitten after finding a secure place to raise her child. When she gazed out the window, she would chirp at the birds. She would turn over and go after toys.
In play, Clove tries to keep up with her older brother after watching him for a while. She is overjoyed to have a loving family who are teaching her the ropes.
“The most observant mother is Maple. Now that they are becoming older, she seems to like playing with them, “Love Meow heard from Jenn.
She deserves to be spoiled and indulged, therefore I can’t wait for her to find a beautiful home of her own.
