When Tara (@mickeythemanxkitty) was picking up some patio stones last month, a man approached her and informed her that his neighbor’s kitties were in need of new homes. According to Tara, who spoke with Love Meow,
“His neighbour had kittens that she was trying to get rid of because they were moving and could only take one cat.”
When Tara, who has adopted many cats and dogs, visited the family, she saw one of the kittens was a polydactyl with curled ears. She delivered the stones to her house but returned thinking about them constantly.
“I believed that this circumstance was meant to be. What other way may this occur? Then I returned.”
The only kitten remaining looking for a home when she came back was the one with several additional toes; the others had been adopted. The man I purchased the stones from was concerned that the neighbour might simply let him go, so I offered to take the child.
The nine-week-old kitten, Max, was ecstatic to receive affection. “He was an instant cuddle-bug when he got home, purring and quite talkative.”
