A number of cats and kittens at a far-off farm were saved, including a long-haired tabby cat named Anika.
Under all the fur, she was just skin and bones, with rough edges and matting all over her. After accepting her into their care, Chatons Orphelins Montreal found out she was pregnant with twins.
“We learned that she was expecting. She was seven years old, yet she was tiny. She most certainly had numerous litters during her time spent outside “Rescuer Celine Crom shared with Love Meow.
Anika was given a warm welcome into a foster family and given access to a luxurious maternity suite with all the comforts. She had plenty of food to eat all day long and access to clean water.
Anika sought to refresh herself and make up for lost sleep during the first couple of days, which she mostly spent sleeping.
“Unexpectedly, Anika gave birth to two kittens, who immediately clung to her and began gorging themselves. They both gained weight in just one day “Celine disclosed.
Albus (a black boy) and Arlow (a tabby boy) are the two boys, and they are the fortunate ones to have been born in a secure environment.
Anika was a good mother to her little children and did everything in her power to keep them clothed and fed. When Albus needed treatment for an infection, she was overjoyed to receive assistance.
Among other cat manners, she taught her furry children how to play like cats and eat from bowls. She was ecstatic as she saw them accomplish one goal after another.
“Albus enjoys running around with his toy in his mouth. He is more mellow and composed and enjoys imitating his brother’s mischievous ways. He enjoys all the attention and purrs like a tractor.”
They take pleasure in lying in the sun near the window and taking in the sights while they are carefree.
Anika is devoting more time to self-care now that she has finished her mothering duties. She is receiving the best treatment and unconditional affection from everyone at the rescue despite some underlying health difficulties.
Arlow and Albus have grown into gorgeous young cats with endearing personalities at three months old.
They work as a team and are frequently seen cuddled up in a soft purr-pile together.
Anika is more than happy to have a roof over her head and nice people to take care of her needs after spending seven years wandering the countryside.
Albus and Arlow are prepared to flap their wings, soar, and live happily ever afters.
